Notes:

This is a gorgeous antique 17th century Flemish Verdure Tapestry depicting the Reconciliation of Jacob and Esau. The tapestry illustrates the Old Testament story of Jacob making peace with his twin brother Esau, many years after he had robbed Esau of his birthright. The reconciliation is set amongst a beautiful and rich scene of a countryside with lush trees and vegetation, countrymen, horses, cattle, and Jacob's soldiers.
