Notes: A Museum Quality piece depicting Mars offering his plumed helmet to Venus who holds her torch and floats aloft a cloud with Vulcan working in his forge to the left, all amid a wooded landscape surrounding a central clearing revealing classical architectural ruins amid rolling hills, within a floral and foliate strapwork border with parrots and tasseled lambrequins, the top border centering a ribbon-drapped shell cartouche surrounded by emblems of love and hunting, the lower boarder with central hunting trophy and the sides centered by love trophies.
